Our podcast series, GlassCast, gives you a unique way to experience the art on view in our galleries. Whether you listen in the galleries or in the car, you’ll come away with a deeper understanding of the art.

Ways to Play the Podcasts

• Subscribe

  Use the URL below in your podcatching software to subscribe and automatically get new episodes.
  If you use iTunes, choose "Subscribe to Podcast" from the "Advanced" menu. Then type or copy/paste the podcast feed URL.

  To subscribe, you need a podcatcher—software that can go out and grab all the podcasts you choose. iTunes is a great option for both Mac and PC users, and Odeo is a great web-based alternative. With either of these, you can subscribe to to podcasts and listen on your computer. For podcasts to go, you need to sync your podcasts to an iPod or other portable digital audio player.

• Listen Online

  Stream the audio-only version of the latest podcast episode to your computer to start listening immediately.

  Help...

  To listen to this streaming audio, you need the Flash player plugin. Fortunately, you probably already have it (over 90% of browsers do). If not, it’s quick and easy to get the Flash Player or update an old copy.
  FYI: "streaming" means the audio plays while it downloads, so you can start listening immediately and not wait for the whole thing to download. Pretty nice, eh?

  Help...

  After you download the file, you will need to unzip it. Recent versions of Windows and Mac have zip utilities built in (Windows: right-click file icon and choose Extract. Mac: double-click file icon). Otherwise, you can use WinZip or StuffIt.

  After the file is unzipped, double-click the file icon to play the podcast in your computer’s default mp3 player. If you have no software to play mp3 files, consider downloading iTunes (for either Windows or Mac).
